Clean Image RV, Boat, Ceramic Coating

Not Just a Detailer

I’m Steve Hathaway, Owner/Operator of Clean Image. A 55 year Snohomish County resident, now residing in Arlington. I love everything about RVing! Taking my 5th Wheel to the desert in the winter, 3 day weekends on our rugged coast or a week at my favorite RV Resort (Whistler, BC). You meet nice, interesting, funny people. We all help each other. My last trip to Palm Springs we had 2 park retirees helping me back my rig in. I only needed one!

OUR STORY

The Early Days, April 2018. It’s just myself, an old truck, a bad hip, and a dream of having millions of Facebook friends! I’ve been really busy the last five years, but the last time I checked……..12 FB friends. Chachaching. Post and upload pics, said all of the marketing experts. We had a different plan. We look our clients right in the eye, and tell them the truth. Never asking for money upfront, or to help with materials. Right from the start, strong support and referrals from Lake Pleasant RV Park, Dagmar’s Marina, Clearview RV, Blaine Marina, Lake Ki RV Park & several other established companies kept me very busy. Climbing onto RV roofs, trying to figure out how to get dog hair out of a Motorcoach, buying my first ozone machine & finding out mold really likes RVs & Boat cabins. I’m starting to notice RVers really like dogs, and hate buying dehumidifiers!

Leo wrote on 2/17/23…… Yesterday myself, and 3 of our men were working on a beautiful $800K 1 yr old, 42′ Tiffin MotorCoach, near Snohomish. We had done all the fun stuff (dialed in the wheels & chrome, pro wash with old wax stripper and 6 medium deep scratches). Now we prepare for the GlideCoat Ceramic Coating. Every small scratch & swirl must be eliminated before we get to apply Ceramic. If not the GlideCoat magnifies the unprepped area and the boss gets grumpy. We have about 35 man-hours on prep, almost done. 2 coats of ceramic next. Last night on my way home Steve/Owner called me. The owner of the Tiffin had just called him to mention how much he loved our crew, and our precision polishing
work! Hey!! I trained those guys!
